Founded in 1997, Ixia has more than 1,700 employees worldwide, and serves Fortune 100 companies and some of the world’s leading carriers and global network equipment manufacturers. We worked together to define Ixia's brand elements, and position it as a network security company.
Over the years, Ixia has acquired several companies, and the brand got diluted. We were charged with taking all of the pieces, and integrating them to create a unified voice and look for the company's brand. We wanted to depart from the ominous feel of the previous materials, and lead with confidence and optimism.
The project included a brand book, containing detailed brand, style, and editorial guidelines; brand language guidelines to instruct writers on Ixia's written style and tone; and a visual direction for collateral. We provided creative direction for the website redesign to ensure brand consistency.
